With the launch of my new webdesign company, I’ve encountered the need to keep track of my leads and what stage they are holding at in my sales funnel.
Some are just prospective leads who I need to follow up with, others have already received their site and need to be billed.
The problem is, most CRM’s (customer retention and management platforms) are simply directories where you enter the data about that individual and mark what stage they are at.
My difficulty is that I am very visual, and having a long list of customers with different tags or labels does very little for me. After a little searching around, I found a really cool platform that does just what I needed: Pipedrive.
Pipedrive it shows your funnel visually, and allows you to drag and drop individual customers from left to right as they move along your funnel. So it does exactly what you need, showing you who is at what stage of your funnel. It also adds up the total amount of money you can potential earn at each stage.
Pipedrive costs $9 a month and gives you a month’s free trial. If you don’t want to spend the money, I found the Trello Kanban board to be a great free alternative.
In general, Kanban boards can be a great way to visually organize your projects. I personally found it didn't work for me, but thousands of other benefit from it).
I simply created different boxes for each stage of the funnel, and a card for each client. That way I was able to replicate the basics of Pipedrive.
How about you? How to do you keep your leads organized?
Would you like me to write for you?
